Who We Are

每个人都可以在三月找到自己的生活节奏。
“At Mäz, everyone can find their own rhythm of life”
Upon entering Mäz, you'll see a curtain hanging in front of the kitchen with the Chinese characters "不急" (No Rush). For us, "no rush" calms the fear of growing up. While modern times in a fast-paced society are success-oriented, Mäz strives to demonstrate that it's also successful in the other direction by offering a respite and a bit of peace.
Eating should be an enjoyable and lavish experience. Even if it's only for a limited time, you need to eat carefully. Experience the taste, the emotions of the people you're eating with, the happiness that comes with a good meal, the destiny of sitting together at a table, and so on. In short, eating should be a happy time.
The Bamboo Community
Our team is a young and dynamic group with an average age of 27. We see ourselves as bamboo: young but resilient, strong individually, but also perfect together.
Like bamboo, communal eating is flexible, resilient, and rooted in common ground. Just as bamboo thrives in mutually supportive groups, a meal shared by many becomes more than just food; it becomes a structure of support, memory, and care. Just as bamboo sways in the breeze yet remains grounded, communal eating allows each individual their individuality while drawing strength from the collective rhythm of conversation, laughter, and presence.
